Commissions – Personal Cartographies (charting your own path)
I’ve been walking and charting as a form of art practice and presence for several years. I invite you to reflect on the paths you walk, via a custom-made personal cartography.
I call these “personal cartographies” – drawings rooted in the everyday places we all occupy, share, and move through. In essence, an opportunity for you to create a map of your own journeys. See the photos below for examples of previous work I’ve done for people.
Details
- A custom-made drawing, using ink and/or watercolor mediums on cold-press paper.
- An original artwork you can display in your home or workplace that is rooted in the place you live, work, and play.
- Or, gift someone an artwork with their own locations.
Price Estimates – below are general estimates for commissioned works, and are based on size. They include framing. A final estimate will be given at time of agreement. If you want to take care of your own custom framing, let me know and we can subtract framing from the cost. Shipping or transport costs will also be worked out at that time.
- $350 (plus sales tax): An 8″ x 12″ original artwork in pen, ink, and/or acrylic paint, in a standard frame. Final framed size will be larger, roughly 13″ x 17″
$1000 (plus sales tax): A 22″ x 28″ original artwork in ink, graphite, or pastel, in a standard wood frame with UV-resistant acrylic. Final framed size will be larger, roughly 25″ x 31″ – example below:
$3000 (plus sales tax): A 60″ x 60″ or larger (we can work this out in a final estimate) original artwork in graphite, charcoal, and/or pastel, in a standard frame with UV-resistant acrylic. Final framed size will be larger, roughly 39″ x 63″:
